1. Lookad had been an associate sponsor for The Telegraph Calcutta Club National Debate held in 2003. The event was hugely successful with a record breaking turnout for the event. The debate topic “Religion has derailed democracy in India” was appreciated by the eminent speakers and the audience as well. The moderator for the debate was Mr. Jairam Ramesh. The speakers for the motion were Mr. Sitaram Yechuri, Mr. Jaipal Reddy, Mr. Amar Singh, Mr. N Ram and speakers against the motion were Mr. Arun Jaitley, Mr. Marc Tully, Mr. Swapan Dasgupta and Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad respectively.
2. Lookad had been an associate sponsor for the Anandolok Awards, one of the most prominent film awards for excellence in Bengali Cinema.
